Happy 10 Months!

Two milestones happened this past weekend... the first was I went away for my first weekend with out the babies and the second was Piper and Phoebe turning 10 months old.

I can hardly believe my sweet little girls are two short months away from being 1 year old.  Time sure flies by when you are having fun!  Both girls are growing and changing every single day.  Piper is pulling herself up on everything.  She can even stand on her own for a little bit.  Phoebe is still a little nervous about standing but we keep practicing. :-)

Both girls love to play and they are actually starting to interact with one another.  I love to sit back and watch them babble back and forth.  It is amazing to watch.

While I was gone on my wonderful ministers wives retreat, James did a fantastic job taking care of the girls.  We are all so blessed to have such an awesome daddy/husband.

Monday Fun-Day!

Bath Time!

Phoebe has always LOVED bath time.  She splashes and smiles the entire time.  Her favorite is when I sing "Splish Splash" while she is in the tub.  Piper on the other hand has been a little leery of bath time. She will smile when I sing, but you can tell it is not her favorite.

I was recently feeling very brave and I decided to let the girls have a bath together.  It was so funny!  I put Phoebe in first and she loved it right away like I thought she would.  Next came Piper.  Piper looked at me with this scared face and almost instantly it melted away and she began splashing right along with her sister.  Soon I was drenched from all of the splashing that was going on in the tub.  Although its a lot of work with too babies, bath time maybe be my new favorite time.  I just love watching both girls interacting, splashing and having a great time!
