Christmas Fun 2011

AWESOME is one word that comes to mind when I think of our Christmas this year. In addition to amazing church services at Saddleback Rancho Capistrano where we had a record number of people attend, to wonderful food, and fun times with family. The best present I could have received are growing inside of me right now. It is so crazy to think that next year James and I will have 6 month olds at Christmas. We can hardly wait!!!

This year was rather difficult for James because I told him I didn't want anything for Christmas and I truly didn't. The babies were enough for me. However, James didn't want to settle for that. Instead he went out and bought me something great instead.....my diaper bag!!!! I love it. It is made especially for mom's with multiples. I can hardly wait to use it and fill it with all the wonderful baby stuff that we need.

In addition to James spoiling me, my parents went CRAZY and bought me a TON of awesome maternity clothing. I say this now and I may regret it later, rather, I am sure I will regret it later but I can't wait to start wearing the maternity clothes!

Carbs and Pickles...YIKES!

So my latest cravings are bagels and pickles. Which for normal people would be just fine, however, my gluten sensitivity has not been liking my bagel eating. I need an alternative fast!!! I don't know where to turn. Looks like I need to hit up Whole Foods, Mothers and all the other "healthy stores" to fulfill my crazy pregnancy needs.

Bump??

Week 12- I am FINALLY starting to feel better!! The first 11 weeks were extremely rough on both myself and James. I was sick ALL day long with no relief except for when I was sleeping, which I did a lot of. I quickly replaced pilates and yoga with my new favorite hobby, sleeping and doing nothing!

I recently decided that now would be a good time to track the growth of my baby belly because I have a feeling it is going to get HUGE! No change in my current clothes yet but I have a feeling after Christmas and New Year's I will be desperate for Belly Bands and maybe even some new pants.

Finally...

After waiting 12 LONG weeks James and I are SO thrilled and excited to finally announce our big news...we are having TWINS!! Double the blessings have come our way this year. We are due June 28th and can hardly wait to meet our precious angels. Since we are having twins I get to have ultra sounds more often. I tried to post ultra sound pictures but they were too dark. I'll try to add some soon! Every time we go the doctor checks to see if he can find the sex of the babies...no luck yet. I am looking forward to announcing that news soon.
